Account settings¶
The account settings page allows you to set multiple settings for your account.
Cookie settings¶
User cookie timeout
The user cookie timeout determines how long it takes before a cookie is expired. By default we use a value of 730 days, but you can change this yourself. Note that your browser may restrict you from setting the expiration. One example is the Intelligent Tracking Prevention of Safari. More information about how to set cookies server-side and prevent blocking can be found in the server cookies documentation.
Note that this is not recommended, because currently web analytics standards are 2 years.
Session cookie timeout
The session cookie timeout is by default 30 minutes, but you can change the expiration. Note that this is not recommended, because web analytics standards make use of 30 minutes.
